Nippu Review - Nippu Movie Review - Nippu Telugu Movie Review: After a series of flops, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is once again geared up to test his luck this time with Nippu movie. So can Nippu strike a chord with audience and keep the box-office ringing? Check out the Nippu Telugu Movie review!
Story: Surya (Ravi Teja) and Sri (Sriram) are best friends. Surya, runs a fitness center and is very much committed to his friendship. Sri works in Saudi Arabia and falls in love with Vaishnavi (Bhavana) - the daughter of Raja Goud (Pradeep Rawat), an illegal businessman. Viashnavi slips accidentally atop apartment and dies, but an innocent Sri faces execution trial. Surya visits Sri in Saudi and comes to know about what all happened. He requests the police authorities for a mercy petition and flies back to Hyderabad for a signature of Raja Goud to relieve Sri from the case. How Surya takes the signature of Raja Goud, with the help of Meghana (Deeksha Seth), Sri's sister, an athlete, and relieves his friend forms the rest of the story.
Analysis :
Analysis: Nippu movie is only good in parts where Ravi Teja will be seen in his routine dimension. The main drawback of the film is director Guna Sekhar who never engaged the audience with his narration. There are some impressive scenes like the comedy episodes between Ravi Teja and Brahmanandam, love episodes between Ravi Teja and Deeksha Seth and the climax part, but they are not enough for this film to make it a winner at box-office. Additionally, the unrealistic thrills in the air would add more excitement to the audience. The director came up with a script that has too many mass elements and eventually lost hold on the basic plot of the story. Overall, Nippu film is not satisfactory but has chances to do well in B and C centers because of its action episodes, mass dialogues and songs.
Cine-gossips Perspective :
Making a movie with a mass hero like Ravi Teja is the safest bet for our directors, but Gunasekhar failed again and tests the patience of the audience with his outdated directorial abilities and unimpressive screenplay. YVS Chowdary has done a wonderful job as the producer but failed to live up to his reputation of making films with good entertainment. Deeksha Seth is gorgeous and looking hot in the movie.
The family emotions, drama and action episodes between Pradeep Rawat and Ravi Teja has been shot well, however, in parts. The scenes between hit pair Ravi Teja and Deeksha Seth came out very well and their onscreen chemistry is fantastic. Nippu came with huge expectations as three friends Ravi Teja, Gunasekhar and YVS Chowdary teamed up for the first time with great passion.
Technicalities:
The dialogues by Akula Siva and Sreedhar Seepana are good and the cinematography of Sarvesh Murari is excellent. Art work by Anand Sai is fabulous, especially in the last song. Thaman's songs are not impressive and the background score is pretty ordinary. Editing by Gautam Raju can be better as the film is a bit lengthy. The production values are rich but direction is not up to the mark. The fights are powerful and violent.
Plus Points:
Ravi Teja's performance
Deeksha Seth's glamor.
Negative Points:
Music
Over dosage of action
Uninteresting screenplay
Performances:
Ravi Teja is back to his roots and has delivered a very good performance with vigor. His dances in the first song are fantastic. Deeksha Seth has bagged a meaningful role after many films though it is quite simple and routine. Brahmandam is hilarious. Rajendra Prasad, Supreeth, Brahmaji are impressive. Sriram, Bhavana are just OK. Pradeep Rawat is adequate as baddie and Mukul Dev, Jaya Prakash Reddy has a very limited role to play.
Final Word: Nippu review: Watch at your leisure.
