After blockbuster hit ‘Dookudu’, the demand for south siren Samantha is going to new heights. She has a host of movies in her kitty.
Her diary this year is already chock-a-block with Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies. Now, the talk doing rounds in the Tinsel town is that the actress may have decided not to sign any new projects.
She is currently doing a Gautham Vasudev Menon’s movie titled ”Neethanae En Ponvasantham’ in Tamil.
The film is going to be a trilingual. This film also marks Samantha’s debut in Bollywood, her cameo in ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ not withstanding.
And she has Mani Ratnam’s ‘Kadal’, which is a Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual movie in her bag. She pairs up with debutant actor Gautham, son of yesteryear hero Karthik in the movie which also casts Lakshmi Manchu.
Also are five Telugu films – ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ with Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu, ‘Eega’ (‘Naan Ee’) opposite Nani directed by SS Rajamouli, and yet-to-be-titled films with Ramcharan Teja and Siddharth.
She is also doing ‘Auto Nagar Surya’ with Naga Chaitanya under the direction of Deva Katta.
