Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie Gabbar Singh’s talkie part has been completed on February 29th and the next schedule starts from 12th of March. The film is slated to release on May 9th. There is one particular reason behind choosing this date. In the year 1991, Mega Star Chirajeevi’s blockbuster film ‘Gang Leader’ released and the date has been considered as a lucky date, so makers of ‘Gabbar Singh’ are planning to release their movie on May 9th.
Earlier, Ganesh Bandla, the producer of the film, had planned to release the film on April 27th, which happened to be Power Star’s blockbuster movie Kushi’s release date. But as the post production is likely to take a few extra days as per the schedule, May 9th has been finalized as the release date.
