Indian superstar Rajinikanth's simplicity and humility is known to all and once again he showed it by displaying his affection towards his senior actor and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Rajinikanth has been conferred with prestigious Centenary Award for 2014 at the 45th International Film Festival of India.
Amitabh Bachchan who was the chief guest for the opening ceremony of the festival, presented the Centenary Award for Rajinikanth.After taking the award Rajini touched the feet of the Amithab and said that he was very fortunate to associate with film industry.
An audio-visual presentation of the Tamil superstar's more than three decades work was shown at the ceremony An emotional Rajinikanth touched Bachchan's feet, addressing him as 'big brother'. Rajinikanth who also was apparently overwhelmed while receiving the award couldn't hold back his tears.
It is to be noted that Rajinikanth has openly showcased his respect towards Amitabh Bachchan in the past by asking the media not to compare him with Amitabh Bachchan and he also referred Mr Bachchan as an Emperor while he would take the position of a King when it comes to Indian Cinema.
