Story:
Siva (Ajay) is a sportsman and he is the son of Police Commissioner (Nagineedu). Siva falls in love with Divya (Sindhu Tolani), but she did not accept his love. As a result, Siva turns psychic so his father throws him out of house.
On the other side, Rahul (Nitin) is a happy go college guy and gets attracted by Priya (Nithya Menon) while flying to Hyderabad from Delhi. After sometime they fall in love with each other. After they arrive to Hyderabad, they get to know that Priya’s brother is Ajay who loved Rahul’s sister Divya.
The rest of the story deals with How he solves the problem? What does he do to succeed in love is all about Ishq.
Performance:
Nithin has done a good job. He learnt from his mistakes and grown in confidence as an actor. His chemistry with Nithya Menon worked well. Nithya Menon is impressive. She is excellent with her innocent looks and dialogue delivery.
Ajay bagged a good role and he is perfect. This role gives him ample scope to prove his skills. Nagineedu as police officer, Rohini as the hero’s aunt, Sindhu Tolani as a girl who fears in expressing and accepting love, has done justice to their respective roles. Ali is hilarious. Rest of the star cast did their part.
Technicalities:
Director Vikram Kumar has done a nice job. Love track was quite impressive and shows how good a director he is. Anoop Rubens music and background is very good. PC Sriram cinematography is outstanding and is the main asset of the film. Srikar Prasad’s editing too is very impressive. Dialogues by Ramesh Samala were apt as per the script. Production vales are also good.
Finally:
Ishq is a classy and beautiful love story told in a
commercial format.
