Confusion Over Temper Release

Forbes India has announced the names of top earning celebrities and the list comprises of many film stars from Bollywood and some of south heroes also made their way into 100 list.From Tollywood only three stars found place and what surprised many is the rankings given to the stars.As per the list Mahesh babu earned 51 crores and his overall rank was 30.Power star Pawan Kalyan earnings were very less this year and he just earned 16 crores according to the magazine and his overall rank was 74.

Linga Movie Full Review

After a three year hiatus from silver screen, Rajnikanth is returning in his human form to silver screen with KS Ravikumar’s “Lingaa”. As the story is woven around a dam built, controversies erupted including plagiarism followed by a civil suit. Irrespective of the opposition, Rajni’s Lingaa has hit more than 3000+ screens and here goes the review.
The CONTENT
Linga (Rajni) is a thief who hops on snatching chains and earns a living, as much he hates his Grandfather for not giving any wealth. Cut to other side, Singanur village awaits for someone from Raja Lingeswar (Rajni) family to reopen a long closed temped in their village. TV anchor Lakshmi (Anushka) finally finds Lingaa and woes him to village by messing him up in a jewelry theft. At the same time Singanur MP (Jagapathi Babu) has other plans with the ‘dam’ in Singanur. After coming to village, Lingaa finds out the good deeds done by his grandfather in 1939 about building a dam, as village head (K Viswanath) explains him. And the movie is all about the obstacles involved in building dam with the then british villains and opening the temple against the will of present political villains.
The EFFORT :
On-Screen:
At 64, Rajnikanth is still as mesmerizing as he is years back. His trademark stylish moves, sharp looks, fast-paced dialogue delivery and gravity-defying stunts are top notch. It’s Rajni mania that takes all over, and if there is any minus, it’s definitely Rajni hasn’t had enough comedy or emotional scenes.
Among the heroines, Anushka looks plump and unappealing. After watching her with her famous yoga-teacher figure, it’s tough to digest her looks. Otherwise, she has done her part well. But debutant Sonakshi Sinha is the show stealer with her innocent looks, flawless acting as a pre-independent era girl, and cute smile. Definitely she is here to stay.
Jagapathi Babu kills with his looks but got nothing much to do as the villain. He is seen for short while and for climax. Santhanam tries hard to bring laughs in the first hour, but he isn’t successful. Other actors are those quite regular gang seen in all Rajnikanth’s movies. They do their part and go.
Off-Screen:
Director KS Ravikumar has done a good job with the way he visualizes a story that requires detailing and attention. Though he faltered a bit with screenplay while dealing with the present-era story, the flashback episode dating back to 1939 is a real treat. But he should have focused more on the story as the film suddenly loses pace and becomes predictable.
Cinematographer Ratnavelu did a spending job in showcasing the British time India with some awesome visuals. Though the art-work for the colonial era is awe-inspiring, it is his camera work that does the magic. Showcasing Rajni as young as possible, and Anushka posh, Sonakshi as innocent as possible, his camera work seamlessly got integrated into the graphics work too.
AR Rahman composed decent background score but his songs doesn’t enthrall as they did with Robo and Sivaji. Though they create interested while watching on screen, you can’t remember even one song while coming out of theatres. Probably Rahman can’t deliver a thrilling album in such a short notice as the film is completed in just 5 months.
We have to talk about Visual Effects too. From creating huge construction-work scenes to building the dam to a huge dam with all gates flooded, computer graphics have played a key role. Never, these graphics looked clichéd as they are quite realistic.

‘Lingaa’ is a pure Rajnikanth film though the story and setup looks dazzling as they cut to pre-independent era showcasing the humane side of a rich Maharaja who gives everything for country and its citizens. However the lengthy and intentionally elongated climax spoiled the whole feel as we could notice even Rajni struggling to wrap the movie.
The film starts on a simple note with K Viswanath explaining the importance of bringing back someone from Raja Lingeswar’s family to reopen a temple located by the dam built by Raja. But when stories cuts to thief Lingaa, it evinces no interest as the comedy fails to brings laugh and stealing jewels from five star hotel looks silly. Still struck with 1990s brain, KS Ravikumar makes the hero sue haphazard techniques even in digital age. Movie gained momentum suddenly when flash back starts, though fights and scenes look over the board. The whole of second half pushes into that British rule illusion effortlessly, but films loses grip as it reaches climax. With everything ending on predictable note, even a Rajni film brings you headache.
Lingaa is a film that evokes mixed reactions. Fans may enjoy it for Rajnikanth’s mesmeric presence but regular movie lovers don’t get that kick. Also if you are expecting something huge and unexpected, then the film will not enthrall you. Go with least expectations and then you may enjoy for a while. Otherwise, you can enjoy it once for Rajnikanth.

World's Sexiest Asian Man
Star Hero Hrithik Roshan who was in headlines all these days with divorce news has surfaced again.The handsome actor elected as Sexiest Asian Men In The World' .Hrithik has won back the crown he lost to Ali Zafar last year to be named the world's sexiest Asian men here
The actor topped the top 50 list in an annual poll conducted by UK-based weekly newspaper 'Eastern Eye'.It was the third time Hrithik won the crown in last in four years.

Lingaa is copy of Chiru Indra
Rajinikanth much awaited film Lingaa is about to hit screen on this Friday.The film is releasing in record number of theatres.In the meantime controversy over the film's story is not dying down.
Since its inception "Lingaa" has been haunted by cases of plagiarism and controversies. The first case came from a small Tamil film maker who claimed the film's story to be a copy of his unreleased film. The second hurdle came from an aspiring scriptwriter, who claimed that the story of "Lingaa" is based on the script of his film.
Now just before the release Lingaa landed in controversy and it was claimed by a Chennai based production house.Interestingly the case was about the copy allegations and the producer filed petition saying that Lingaa was copy work of Megastar Chiranjeevi Indra film which released in 2004.
The producer of Balaji Studios Private Ltd, Saligramam, Chennai has approached the Madras High Court requesting them to order stay on the release.He alleged that Lingaa story was in similar lines of Chiranjeevi Indra film for which he bought remake rights.He had claimed that his production company has rights to remake the movie in all languages including Tamil.
However the court dismissed the plea and cleared the way to Lingaa release.

Speculations are rife in Film Nagar that ace producer Dil Raju is getting ready to kick start a sequel to the 2006 super hit “Bommarillu”. That movie made hero Siddharth as a household name, while the concept of father-son confrontation in a family is still talked about.

We hear that his own writing team has prepared a subject now, and an assistant director working in his production house since its inception will wield the megaphone. Who is hero of ht movie then? 3D woes for Rudramadevi
Gunasekhar wants 'Rudramadevi' to be first Historical 3D Stereoscopic Film made in the country. The same target is proving to be very costly now!
Shooting of 'Rudramadevi' has been wrapped up long ago. Ever since then 3D work has been progressing but still there is a lot of pending work pushing the release further. The film was originally slated for Christmas, then it was moved to Sankranthi and now we hear there is every chance of further postponement.
On the other hand, Gunasekhar is finding it difficult to keep the production cost under control because of the extensive use of visual effects. The budget already surpassed Rs 40 crore-mark and no one knows where it ends finally.
Allu Arjun who played the role of Gona Ganna Reddy would be the key for pre-release business of 'Rudramadevi'. His solid market in AP, Telangana, Kerala and Karnataka will help Gunasekhar recover most of his investment.

Young Tiger Jr NTR Temper film unit is back to Hyderabad from Goa but the shooting of the film was halted due to strike of cine union workers.As per reports the shooting will resume from December 11 th and Puri planning to finish balance fight sequences and a song.
Meanwhile the film business was creating sensation and fancy offers were pouring from all quarters.According to reports writer of the film Vakkantam Vamsi bought Temper righst for 2 crores which was a record price in the region.Vamsi having full confidence on his script and with this news expectations on the film soared to further height.

One of the senior most personalities and a well respected figure in the Tollywood industry is Tammareddy Bharadwaja. He is known for his straight and controversial remarks and recently he targeted young heroes for not taking participation at Memu Saitam event.
It is pity to see organizers have to request the young heroes to take part in the Memu Saitham fund raising program to help the Hudhud cyclone victims.Bharadwaj said “We have to go around then and keep on requesting to come to the event. They do not have any respect to elders. They are run and go to the Filmfare Ceremonies but do not have time to come to Nandi Film Festivals”.
It was still unclear whom Tammareddy was targeted but some of the film celebs started responding to his comments. Already we saw some heroines who responded on the comments and now its turn for Mega Camp to speak on Tammareddy coments.

Mahesh Daughter To Become Scientist
Attending a couple of charity events in the city, Superstar Mahesh Babu is at his candid best when answering certain questions posed by media folks. Akkineni Nagarjuna game show Meelo Evadu Koteeswarudu created all time records in form of TRP ratings and now it’s the time for Naga Chaitanys to enter record TRP club.Chaitu’s latest movie 'Oka Laila Kosam' was telecasted in Gemini on October 16th. The movie got 13.16 TRP rating which is highest ever for Naga Chaitanya. But, it failed to break record ratings of Allu Arju starrer Race Gurram which records 15.72 TRP ratings which is highest so far in 2014.
The film was telecasted in just two months post release and may said it was the prime reason for huge TRP’S.The TRPs of ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ was better than star heroes films like ‘Nenokkadine’, ‘Yevadu’ and ‘Legend’.
